THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER assembles the best mixed martial arts fighters from throughout the Americas, pitting them against one another for the coveted title. The contenders share the dream of being the best, and each sports a formidable background in a wide range of fighting arts, including karate, Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, wrestling, Judo, and kickboxing. Convening at the UFC Center in Las Vegas and divided into two teams, the contestants undertake the most grueling training regime of their lives. Each team is guided by one of the two most accomplished UFC fighters: UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture, and UFC Light Heavyweight #1 Contender Chuck Liddell. Over the course of season one, the weak are weeded out weekly, until only the strong are left standing.

In addition to scoring one of the biggest surprise hits in television history, NBC generated a veritable pop culture phenomenon with its twentysomething sitcom smash FRIENDS. Don`t be fooled by the title, because this is a British show, where football actually means soccer--although the action in this amusing drama mostly takes place off the pitch. Highly popular in its native country and on BBC America, FOOTBALLERS WIVES follows the players of a fictional team as they become embroiled in sex scandals and murder mysteries. To its credit, the show doesn`t take itself too seriously, and is all the more enjoyable as a result. The entire second season is included here.

Using his brain in place of a gun, secret agent Angus MacGyver relies on his knowledge of science to save himself and others from jeopardy. Deploring the promotion of everyday violence, MacGyver refuses to carry weapons and instead designs lifesaving tools out of household staples like paper clips and duct tape. Richard Dean Anderson portrays a likeable hero of strong principals and intellect in this clever series, which successfully ran for seven years (1985-1992) and continues to remain a beloved cult favorite.
