The build up to a wedding can be one of the most stressful events of a person's life. In CONFESSIONS OF AN AMERICAN BRIDE, Samantha (Shannon Elizabeth) prepares for her big day with all the usual stresses and strains. Carefully selected invitations have to be sent out, feuding in-laws must be placated, an appropriate cake must be found, a quick affair with a former college crush has to be conducted...wait a minute! What was that last one? Yes, trouble strikes when Samantha runs into the man that she pined for during college, and he suddenly seems extremely interested in reciprocating her amorous approaches. Consequently, Samantha's mind becomes clouded with doubt and uncertainty over the wedding, leading to an amusing, yet touching, finale to this made-for-TV movie.
