This is a mixed blessing, however, when it becomes apparent that Ariel will soon suck the atmosphere, and everything else, to certain doom.Voyager's Return - A space probe launched in 1985 heads back to Alpha, leaving a wake of nuetron-based destruction. By the time this fifth DUKES OF HAZZARD season aired in 1982, Bo and Luke had been written out of the script, as original actors John Schneider and Tom Wopat moved on to other projects. But to Boss Hog`s (Sorrell Booke) dismay, they`ve been replaced by Bo and Luke`s cousins Coy (Byron Cherry) and Vance Duke (Christopher Mayer), who arrive in town to help Uncle Jesse (Denver Pyle) run his farm. Bo and Luke`s absence is explained--they`ve joined the NASCAR circuit--but things remain essentially the same in Hazzard County, as Coy and Vance fulfill their absent cousins` roles of thwarting Boss Hog`s devious deeds at every available opportunity. The entire fifth season of the show is included on this release.

Richard Greene played Robin Hood in this British television series (1955-1960) as an upbeat and expansive fellow, and a superb small repertory troupe played different supporting roles. The interior backgrounds were mounted on wheels to facilitate fast shooting, and the studio was located near historic Runnymeade Meadow, the ideal locale for the outdoor scenes. Loosely based on the earlier Douglas Fairbanks and Errol Flynn classic films about a forest bandit with a gang that
steals from the rich and gives to the poor
(that were in turn based on poems and stories dating back 600 years), this children`s show remains fondly remembered by those lucky enough to grow up with it.
