Based on the life of standup comedian Margaret Cho, this sitcom from the mid-1990s stars Cho as second-generation Korean-American Margaret Kim, who lives in San Francisco with her traditional Korean family. Margaret deals with sibling rivalry, an overbearing mother, and a grandmother steeped in traditions that appear eccentric in the American milieu.
