Popular during the 1980s, this sitcom stars Scott Baio (HAPPY DAYS) as Charles, an unlikely yet loveable nanny. In the first season, the 19-year-old college student gets a gig taking care of three kids whose parents have busy working schedules. Invited to live in their home, Charles juggles his child-rearing responsibilities with attempts to have a normal college life. Between romances, hanging out with his best friend Buddy Lembeck (WILLIE AAMES), and keeping three pre-teens in check, Charles has his hands full. The first season of CHARLES IN CHARGE was unique because it was the only season to star the Pembroke family. The show got cancelled after its debut season, but in an unusual move, was brought back to television a few years later. When the show returned, it featured an entirely different family, the Powells. This release includes 22 episodes, including the series pilot. Just a few of the stars who appear as quests are Christina Applegate, Matthew Perry, and Meg Ryan. With David Brent (Ricky Gervais) receiving his marching orders at the end of THE OFFICE's second season, this two-part special shines a light on what happened to Brent in his post-paper merchant career. The office itself now falls under the watchful eye of Gareth (Mackenzie Crook), who took Brent's job, with his sparring partner Tim (Martin Freeman) going to increasingly odd lengths to make Gareth's life a misery. Meanwhile, Dawn (Lucy Davis) and Lee (Joel Beckett) have moved to the sunnier climate of Florida, but don't appear to be terribly thrilled about it. Brent blew his redundancy package on a pop career, which ended before it had really begun due to an awful single (a cover of If You Don't Know Me By Now, with requisite cheesy video), and now plys his trade as a travelling salesman who sells cleaning products. But the documentary makers have some fun in store, by bringing all the former Wernham-Hogg employees back together for the annual office Christmas party. Following the travails of handyman Jonathan Smith (Michael Landon), HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN originally aired on NBC, and saw Landon reunite with his LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE co-star Victor French. Smith is an angel sent to earth so that he can buddy up with cop Mark Gordon (played by French) and help cure some of societies ills.
