The first of two spinoffs launched by the hugely popular television series CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, CSI: MIAMI introduces a new cast of crime fighters operating from a forensics lab unit in the tropical climes of southern Florida. David Caruso (NYPD BLUE) anchors the series as tortured homicide detective, Horatio Caine, who leads an investigative team that includes Southern-belle ballistics expert, Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter); streetsmart tough guy, Tim Speedle (Rory Cochrane)--later replaced by idealistic cop, Ryan Wolfe (Johnathan Togo)--underwater recovery expert, Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez); no-nonsense coroner, Alexx Woods (Khandi Alexander); and short-lived DNA specialist, Megan Donner (Kim Delaney, who departed after only 10 episodes). While sharing its parent show`s penchant for grisly crime reenactments, the spinoff places greater emphasis on police work, rather than science, and boasts a flashier cinematographic style that befits its sunkissed and stylish Miami locale. This collection presents every thrilling episode from the series` first three seasons.

Created by successful television producers Steven Bochco (NYPD BLUE, HILL STREET BLUES) and David E. Kelley (PICKET FENCES, BOSTON PUBLIC), DOOGIE HOWSER, M.D. took a dubious premise and became a household name. Neil Patrick Harris (who eventually won a Golden Globe for the role) starred as teenaged genius Doogie, who has successfully completed college and become a doctor at a young age. While he may be smart enough to practice medicine, Doogie is still going through the process of growing up, which often conflicts with his duties. Luckily his best friend Vinnie and his sometimes-girlfriend Wanda are there to help him. In each episode Doogie learns a life lesson, which he remembers on his computer journal. In 1979, producer Glen A. Larson (Battlestar Galactica, The A-Team) revived the character of Buck Rogers (originally created in 1928) for a television pilot for NBC. The result got a theatrical release, only to appear a year later on television as a prelude to a series starring Gil Gerard as the astronaut who goes on a space mission, only to awaken 500 years later on a severely different Earth and be chosen to aid a special defense organization due to his superior piloting skills. In the second season, Buck becomes a crew member on the Seacher, a spacecraft on the mission of finding lost tribes of Earth on other planets. With her winsome good looks and startling mane of blond curls, Ms. Russell's perpetually confused Felicity immediately struck a chord with younger female viewers who made the show one of its fledgling network's few bona fide hits. Combining an affecting coming of age story with soap opera worthy melodrama, FELICITY is an excellent and thoughtful dramatic series.
