Sleuth Albert Campion (Peter Davison), who conceals his desire for danger under his naive appearance, takes up another case. This time it is the mirror image of a murder investigation when Campion attends the funeral of an old schoolyard buddy who may not be as dead as was originally thought. It does not seem coincidental that an ex-girlfriend happens to need Campion's sleuthing skills for a murder mystery of her own. The final installment in Stephen King`s spooky hospital drama, based on Lars von Trier`s miniseries RIGET, presents a climax toward which the series has been building, novel-like, throughout. Described by King himself as a cross between ER and THE SHINING, the show is set in a hospital that acts as one of the characters. Rebuilt on the same land as an old mill that took the lives of many children when it burned down during the Civil War, Kingdom Hospital is increasingly plagued by supernatural events. Dr. Hook (Andrew McCarthy, PRETTY IN PINK, MONK) is an excellent but troubled surgeon who lives in Kingdom`s basement and has a fraught relationship with the incompetent, egotistical Dr. Stedman (Bruce Davidson, X-MEN). Diane Ladd (ALICE, WILD AT HEART) plays the hypochondriac, psychic Mrs. Druse, who is at first the only one willing to explore a paranormal explanation for the strange occurrences at the facility. In the final episodes, Mrs. Druse and her accomplices get in touch with the spirits from the Old Kingdom, and learn the truth about the Kingdom`s forefathers.

The fifth season of this sitcom starring Redd Foxx as the title character, Fred Sanford, a 65 year old junk dealer who lives in the Watts housing complex in LA with his grown son, Lamont. Lamont is a reluctant partner in the business, always threatening to leave but retained by Fred's feigned heart attacks; Fred, meanwhile, is a crotchety fellow with a heart of gold, and both characters are constantly coming up with get rich quick schemes that consistently backfire. Other characters include the zealous Aunt Esther Anderson, Fred's main squeeze Donna Harris, and various friends and acquaintances of both father and son.
