Richard Metzger isn't afraid to tackle controversial topics. In his short-lived talk show, DISINFORMATION, Metzger and his guests investigate, in graphic detail, some of society's most taboo subjects. Guests include performance artist Kembra Pfahler discussing her decision to sew shut her vagina, scientist Howard Bloom on the imminent biological apocalypse, and Genesis P-Orridge (Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV) on becoming a cult leader. Using his brain in place of a gun, secret agent Angus MacGyver (Richard Dean Anderson) relies on his knowledge of science to save himself and others from jeopardy. Deploring the promotion of everyday violence, MacGyver refuses to carry weapons and instead designs lifesaving tools out of household staples like paper clips and duct tape.
