The classic sitcom that spawned endless imitators with its sexy singles-based humor, THREE`S COMPANY made a big mark on the comedy sitcom genre.
Revolving around endless misunderstandings about sexuality and drugs, and playing off quite a few stereotypes, the show displayed John Ritter`s knack for physical comedy, delivering laughs through the comedian`s outlandish expressions, gestures, and mannerisms. When aspiring chef Jack Tripper (John Ritter) tells landlord Mr. Roper (Normal Fell) that he is gay in order to peacefully cohabit with his two attractive female roommates, he must construct a web of lies (which proves almost impossible to unravel) in order to cover his tracks. Loveable airhead Chrissy (Suzanne Somers) and sexy Janet (Joyce DeWitt) add to the miscommunication and only make things worse with their antics. Though Chrissy was many fans` favorite character, her appearance throughout the fifth season was sporadic. Some have reported this was due to Suzanne Somers`s demand for a higher per-episode salary, the terms of which the show`s producers never agreed to. THREE`S COMPANY: SEASON FIVE contains all 22 episodes of the fifth season (the last one starring Somers).

Representing the point at which American television reached a point of mature artistry, MOONLIGHTING took the medium to new heights of sophistication while maintaining a sense of lighthearted fun. Fusing the drama and comedy genres while offering convoluted plotlines filled with
serious
situations and cultural references, the show delivered laughs according to the tropes of more straightforward sitcoms. The first season begins as the uncompromising former model Maddie Hayes (Cybill Shepherd, THE LAST PICTURE SHOW) loses her fortune to an embezzling accountant; all she has left are a few money-losing businesses retained as tax write-offs. Among these is the Blue Moon Detective Agency, which Maddie plans to sell off until fast-talking detective David Addison (Bruce Willis, DIE HARD, THE SIXTH SENSE, PULP FICTION) convinces her that the business can turn a profit. The two form a partnership, solving the eccentric cases that are forever turning up at Blue Moon. Meanwhile, the wisecracking, smart, but slovenly David and the beautiful, icy, slightly snobbish Maddie navigate the growing romantic tension between them. In season three, Dave and Sam vie for Maddie`s affections, Dave`s father gets married, and the whole cast participates in their own version of THE TAMING OF THE SHREW.

This special program from the dependable children`s show SESAME STREET deals with the topic of natural disaster, and teaches kids to help one another in times of need. When a hurricane is headed for Sesame Street, everyone gathers around to learn about the massive storm, and then heads indoors to wait it out. Afterwards, Big Bird is distraught to find that his nest has blown away, so the whole gang pitches in to help him rebuild it.

One of the Sci Fi Channel's most popular series, FARSCAPE is the story of a band of misfit renegades on the run from military Peacekeepers. The hero of the series is the human John Crichton (Ben Browder), a young astronaut and astrophysicist who becomes stranded on the other side of the universe when his Farscape module goes through a wormhole. There, he is taken in by the sentient ship Moya, whose passengers are a mixed lot of aliens, all of whom are on the run from the Peacekeepers.
