Popular country music singer Reba McIntyre stars in this hit family comedy series that airs on the WB channel. Reba is a recently-divorced parent of three, whose dentist husband Brock (Christopher Rich, MURPHY BROWN) has left her for his painfully perky--and pregnant--assistant, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman, FARGO). The trials and travails of this offbeat family are presided over by the take-charge, loving Reba, who manages to save the day almost every time, and whose motherly wisdom and openhearted good humor carries the show. In Season Three the alien teenagers are coming of age, facing the uncertainties of graduation and relationships with their human friends. The FBI is hot on their trail and the realization dawns that the group`s use of their powers has backfired on them. But as aliens and humans prepare to leave the once-safe haven of Roswell, a startling vision appears to Liz that may change everyone`s chosen path. A unique television program due to its subtlety, humor, and examination of prescient issues of identity, the unique show enjoyed a large cult following.

An edgier version of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, the Canadian sketch comedy series SCTV premiered in 1977 and ran for three seasons in a half-hour format before being picked up by NBC and expanded to 90 minutes in 1981. Unusual for a sketch comedy series, SCTV`s skits were tied together by the framing device of a fictional television network populated by feuding newscasters, dishonest talk show hosts, failed cabaret singers, fishing musicians, and other eccentric show biz types. In between were sketches of biting contemporary satire delivered by an inspired cast of future stars: Joe Flaherty, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Rick Moranis, Catherine O`Hara, Dave Thomas, and the late, great John Candy.
