Deliberately anachronistic and full of high camp, XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS was spun-off from the similar HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS but still managed to find an audience all its own. Both series were produced by film director Sam Raimi (EVIL DEAD, SPIDER-MAN). Xena is an Amazon, destined to roam ancient Greece (and other lands as well) with her companion Gabrielle in order to atone for the crimes she committed as a warlord. SEASON SIX was the final season of the fantasy series, and it finds Xena battling her regular enemies as well as traveling to Norway, Africa, and Japan in search of adventure. Tongue-in-cheek comedy, action, and creative re-visioning of familiar legends mark XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS.

Bernard Black (Dylan Moran) hates his job, his life, and his friends. In fact, there`s not much Bernard doesn`t hate, except for a glass of red wine and the chance to torment his coworker Mani (Bill Bailey). Bernard runs Black Books, a dusty secondhand bookstore whose customers he loathes; Mani is employed in the first episode to help Bernard relinquish himself of the interminable duties that clutter up his day. Fran (Tamsyn Grieg) works in a new age shop next door and frequently pops in for a glass of wine and a chat. This first series of the show provides six half-hour episodes that deserve to rub shoulders with the very best U.K. sitcoms to have emerged over the years. Moran and Bailey make a great double act, delivering the tightly written script (by Moran and FATHER TED co-writer Graham Linehan) with consummate ease, while Grieg does an admirable job of diffusing the tensions that rise between Bernard and Mani. Three series` of the show were shot, but this is the best of the lot, and a great place to witness some of the U.K.`s finest comic talents.

Few comedy shows manage to survive the lost of a primary cast member, but the British sex-fuelled romp COUPLING pulls it off in style with this fourth season of the show. The talented Richard Coyle and his loveable character Jeff may no longer be around, but the usual cast of Susan (Sarah Alexander), Steve (Jack Davenport), Sally, (Kate Isitt) Jane (Gina Bellman), and Patrick (Ben Miles) are still on board, alongside new guy Oliver (Richard Mylan). Saucy and salacious goings on soon erupt, with the storylines focusing on sex, sex, and more sex! But Susan is pregnant with Steve's baby this time around, and there are commitment issues to contend with for Patrick and Sally. Meanwhile, Jane is her usual spaced-out self, and Oliver manages to slide nicely into Jeff's shoes as the erratic, disaster prone black sheep of the crowd.
