With a history stretching to seven years and 13 Emmy Award nominations, SCTV was a huge success straight from its inception as a television show in 1977. By 1981 it was in syndication on NBC and winning plaudits from peers and fans alike. The incredible cast included comedy favorites such as John Candy, Eugene Levy, Martin Short, and Rick Moranis among many others.
