Originally airing as a six-part miniseries on the BBC, FIVE CHILDREN AND IT closely adapts the stories of beloved children`s author E. Nesbit`s about a magical sand fairy known as the Psammead. When five children living at the end of the 19th century encounter the Psammead, their lives become filled with adventure, as their new friend grants all their wildest wishes, with often troublesome results.
