Based on the detective novels of Caroline Graham and filmed in the lush English countryside, the UK television series MIDSOMER MURDERS probes the criminal undercurrents lurking beneath the idyllic surface of village life in fictional Midsomer County. The charmingly unflappable Inspector Barnaby (John Nettles) is on hand to thwart any criminal wrongdoers, solving the most complex of cases with his keen intuition and the help of young partner Sergeant Troy (Daniel Casey).
